Basic Life Support CPR/AED
American Heart Association (AHA)
Our AHA Basic Life Support class is for individual student sign ups and covers in detail Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.
Students will learn the basics of how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and how to perform basic maneuvers to relieve choking in infants, children and adults. The course consists of video based training, instructor lecture, hands on skills and a written test.
Students will receive an American Heart Association CPR/AED card at the completion of the course.
Recommended students include a variety of healthcare providers, teachers, nurses, nursing students, EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters.
*Course last approximately 3 hours. Recertification classes last approximately 2 hours.

Online Course + Skills Session
In order to offer the most flexible option possible to our students, we are now offer this American Heart Association blended course option. Students will have access to AHA’s online training to complete at their convenience.
After completing the online portion of the course, students will bring a copy of the “course completion certificate” to their scheduled skills session to receive hands-on CPR instruction until the skill has been mastered.

American Red Cross (ARC)
The purpose of this course is to ensure that healthcare and public safety professionals have the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies.
The course emphasizes active, hands-on learning and uses scenario activities to help participants learn how to provide CPR, use an AED and relieve an obstructed airway for adult, child and infant patients.
